A mutual aid project connecting anonymous gift-givers everywhere with trans youth who are unhoused, in foster care, or otherwise without crucial support they need to thrive.
Transchool
Inspired by the letters written to @transanta, this summer course for young trans writers offers college-level instruction and mentorship.

The first Transchool Anthology, a compilation of original writings by our 2023 Transchool cohort and their mentors.

Curated by photographer and producer Jasmin Porter of Allies in Arts, the collection highlighted a different queer Black artist each week.
Santa Monica Pride Art Walk
Allies in Arts curated The Rainbow Road Art Walk for Santa Monica Pride, featuring immersive installations by 18 QBIPOC artists.

2020 Collection
Selected by a jury of QBIPOC artists and academics, this virtual screening of shorts featured films directed by BIPOC women, trans, non-binary, and intersex artists.

Reel Her In
For 5 years from 2017—2021, Allies in Arts produced an annual screening of short films directed by women of color and other queer-identified female, trans and non-binary people.
2016
#girlgaze: a frame of mind
Allies in Arts intervened to ensure this exhibition, the first time the Annenberg Space for Photography focused on female photographers, included trans photographers and photographers of color.
